When more then one loved one is killed in a sudden motorcycle accident, it can be even more difficult to accept the dreadful news. It can also present more hardships on a family who will have to work to cope with multiple losses and the other repercussions of the incident.

This type of situation is likely affecting one Colorado family. As a result, the eastbound vehicle collided head-on with the motorcycle. The driver of the car was reported as being 69 years old, and the driver of the motorcycle was reported as being 61 years old. The motorcycle passenger’s age was not given in the report.

The incident resulted in both individuals on the motorcycle suffering fatal injuries. The driver was apparently declared dead at the scene, and the passenger succumbed to her injuries later at a hospital. The driver of the car suffered serious injuries and was flown from the scene to the hospital. It was noted that authorities believe that alcohol and drugs were factors in the crash.

The family of the man and woman killed in this Colorado motorcycle accident may view this event as surreal. Losing two loved ones at once may seem as if it is more than they can bear, but still, they must find ways to move forward. If they believe it could suit their circumstances, it may benefit the family of the victims to gain information on wrongful death claims and the possibility of seeking compensation for allowable damages from the driver considered at fault for the incident.
